The MAXNC 15 CL2 is a closed loop
system using the new CL2 motion system for control. It runs 4 axes from
a single parallel port from any PC under Windows. The control reads the
encoders at a rate of over 60,000 times a second and the feed-back is
analyzed by the software. Based on the position of the encoders, the
outputs to the motors are advanced, retarded or modified as needed. The
speed at which the software operates also allows the control of the
spindle motor speed from the CNC program. The machine comes equipped
with combination HOME and LIMIT switches and a socket for the 3D
digitizer.
